Bhrigu Lake Trek Blogs
Bhrigu Lake is a high altitude alpine lake at an ambitious height of 14000 FT near Manali in Himachal Pradesh. Bhrigu Lake gets its name from Maharishi Bhrigu, a great saint, who would meditate near the lake, thus rendering the lake sacred. Located to the east of the famous Rohtang Pass, in spite of being at a height of 4300m, Bhrigu Lake can be reached in just 3 days of trekking. The trek takes you through some of the most surreal meadows, pine forests, traditional villages, and pretty apple orchards all the while gifting you with stunning views of peaks like Hanuman Tibba and the Seven Sister Peaks of the Pir Panjal range.
